I have washed my SUV with this car wash soap a few times now. Its very interesting to say the least. I wash my car, rinse, and attempt to dry with a shammy, but my car dries spotless before I can dry it with the shammy. If you want an easier time drying your car I would say try this! Although, don't expect perfect results the first time. Like most things in life, it takes a few times/coatings of the soap to get the best results.

This is the real deal. Have always been looking for something to reduce the water spots on my bike after washing. My well water is so hard you need a chisel to get it out of the faucet. I would have to immediately towel dry parts of the bike as I would wash it to avoid the spots and then detail it with a polish.

I finally tried this wash this weekend. Worked fantastically. After allowing the bike to air dry the only place I could see a few tiny spots were on the wind screen with the sun shining through it. I've always been a big fan of other Rain-X products. This shouldn't have surprised me. Highly recommend.

A couple of ounces in about 3 or 4 gallons of water sudsed up nicely. Seems pretty gentle. Left some of the dried bug debris. Didn't bother my hands.

As advertised. Washed my Acura one sunny Sunday morning, after not washing it for nearly a year -yeah, I'm a chic- and I was afraid the dirt and grim had ruined my pearl finish but this washed it right off and left it shiny and clean! Didn’t even have to scrub hard. Will buy again, next year 😽

  • PH BALANCED – Other detailing shampoos and low grade car wash soaps are often too strong, stripping wax and staining plastic and rubber parts. Mr. Pink is pH balanced and gentle on all exterior automobile parts like paint, clear coat, polished metals, glass, and plastic trim. It’s safe on waxes, sealants and ceramic coatings too.

As a detailing enthusiast I spend time using waxes and sealants that are far better than soaps with included waxes. When you use a car soap with included waxes it ends up coating your premium sealant or wax that you spent hours applying with a crappy one masking over it with poor wax properties. This is one of the few soaps that is wax free! Meaning you can safely remove contaminates to bring back alive your premium products without masking it with a crappy one.

As a side note if you do not spend time waxing, sealing or coating I suggest buying car soap with wax for more protection.

If you want a new shampoo for your vehicle that's capable of producing a crazy amount of suds, this is what you want. This stuff smells great and always leaves a nice clean shine on my toys! Chemical Guys definitely gained a new long term, loyal customer here!

I've always been a big fan of the pink...... And I am now a big fan of Chemical Guys Mr. Pink. I put 2 cap fulls from the 16oz. bottle and filled my 5 gallon bucket up almost all the way. (So about 4 gallons.)..... That's all it took...

I'll admit I was skeptical at first. Which is why I purchased the smaller bottle to start with... I was thinking to myself 'well isn't car soap just car soap...?'.... No. It's not. There are different viscosity levels and different detergents and additives in all kinds of soaps and shampoos.

That being said I'm pretty stoked on the Mr. Pink. It did what it said it would do. And that's what I expect from a product when I purchase it. Don't get me wrong, it's not some miricle wax that's going to turn your rusted out 68 chevelle and make it showroom ready. But if you detail and maintain your car often you start to notice things here and there. And I took note that this soap seemed to be a step above the rest...

Goodbye meguiar's, mothers, and turtle wax... Hello CHEMICAL GUYS!

1. Spray this on any interior surface
2. Wipe off
3. Peace out, and go about your other business
4. Hours later you'll get a satisfying look on your face with the knowledge that the inside of your car is clean, looks great and smells as good as it looks.
Great finish that's not shiny, not flat, more like a matte or satin. Additionally, it smells terrific and lasts a considerably long time (maybe 3-4 weeks). This is one of the few products that I would certainly recommend to others. Did I happen to mention the smell? I might go sit in my car right now just to enjoy it!

I'm super happy with this product!!I used Maguiar's leather cleaner and it did not clean some spots as good as this...specially on a steering wheel(to all fairness the Maguiar's product cleaned some things better).
Smells so good too...I detailed my wife's suv and she was amazed and so happy how it turned out...happy spouse, happy house!
Overall it is a very good purchase!I will easily buy it again
I would suggest for you to clean the surface first with the chemical guys and for leather use the Maguiar's leather restorer afterwards!!!you will be amazed!

I have a convertible and drive with the top down in the evenings. I get dust on the interior, and I have to do a light detailing about once every 1-2 weeks, and a serious cleaning about once every 45-60 days. I grew up using Armor-All, but I do like it's wet looking sheen. As I got older, I started to use Meguiar's Ultimate Interior Cleaner because I liked how it lifted dirt and was safer to use on all surfaces. Now, I'm finding that I like this detailing spray by the Chemical Guys. I was a bit conflicted about the scent, though. Baby powder is a little weird at first. (It's a nice scent, but in a car? I'm still not sure after my 4th use). If I don't eventually make peace with it, I may try Pinapple next time. Both seem like strange choices, but whatever. This cleans, and if I didn't know better it seems to lave a charge or something that repells dirt/lent for a while. It seems to function like a like a matte automotive version of Endust for Electronics.

Chase The Wave Forever

I found this works extremely well in foam cannons. In fact I find it works much better than most of the big brands who are pushed for foam cannons IF YOU USE ENOUGH. By enough I mean I fill the foam cannon with roughly 20oz of soap and fill the cannon with water slowly. Give it a good shake or 2 then get some of the best suds of your life. People are going to argue that is too much soap or simply a waste. Think of it like this, at 6 a jug, that is 6 carwashes with extremely thick soap. So for $1 you are getting a mirrror like shine without the expense of paying someone or the elbow grease involved normally. The suds stay lathered longer giving you a longer work time. It works for me, it will work for you. And above all else I am using that 20oz with an electric SunJoe.

There are more expensive car wash detergents by fancy names the auto detail enthusiasts use and I have nothing bad to say about them, but this Rain-X car wash works great and the price was very reasonable. It's only a value if it works and this does. I used this car wash in an inexpensive pressure washer. My wife's white RAV4 had been parked under a maple tree for several years (shame on me) and the years of accumulated and oxidized sap made the car a uniform gray color. Spraying this detergent and letting it soak for a few minutes and then pressure washing the car looked like I was spray painting a gray car white. My wife couldn't believe how the finish was restored after the long neglect and abuse. A quick coat of wax and it looked almost new.

This product works really well with manual car washes. It made it so much easier to clean our RV externally. The roof was super dirty and this stuff worked great for me. It works better than using Dawn liquid soap which I used on my truck because it's easier to rinse off and the ingredients used here can help take off sap on the hood of the vehicle.

I've tried a couple of other microfiber washes which will basically just detergent and didn't really offer any benefits. Typically I've been using microfiber towels and throwing them away which is a very expensive way to use them. I did this because once you wash microfiber is they are never the same again and even if you use an all natural detergent it seems like you are left with towels that leave small white specs all over glasses or iPad screens etc. Well this microfiber wash following the directions on the bottle and on their website left me with a bunch of microfibers that were as good as new. This is the only wash I've ever used and the only way I've ever laundered microfiber towels and had them function as new again. As a result I have to give it five stars for doing exactly what it says and doing it very very well. For those of you saying it doesn't do anything regular detergent can I do, I couldn't disagree more. If you use regular detergent with microfiber towels and you were glasses you'll notice there's a residue left on the tiles which transfers to your lenses even doing a wash with hot water leaves the same residue. Next time I buy this I will buy a gallon, it works that well and it's a heck of a lot cheaper then continuing to buy microfiber towels by the 50 pack three or four times a year

R. EARLS

I love this microfiber towel cleaner. I've used it multiple times, both in my front-loading washing machine and in a 5 gallon bucket for hand-washing. In the past I tried using Tide Free and other laundry detergents, but they just didn't do as good a job of getting out the dirt and polish. The laundry detergents also seemed to leave residue in the towel that would rub-off onto the car the next time I used it. In my experience, Chemical Guys Microfiber Wash does a GREAT job of removing dirt, polish and everything else from my microfiber towels when its used properly. It has a pleasant scent, generates a lot of suds, and rinses-out easily. Even when I bucket-wash towels by hand, it doesn't leave my skin dried-out. I follow-up by drying my towels on low heat with no fabric softeners or dryer sheets and they come-out feeling like new. I will definitely continue to use this product.

TIP: If you detail your car once every 1-2 weeks and use a lot of microfiber towels and wash mitts, you'll go through a lot of this microfiber wash. Buy the 1 gallon size. Its a HUGE savings over the 16oz bottle and you know you'll wind-up using all of it.

I was in the market to look for some microfiber wash since using regular detergent appears to make my towels rougher and not as soft anymore after a few washes. This is when I discovered this Chemical Guys microfiber wash. I am almost done with the bottle after almost a whole year so I'm looking to buy more. I might buy the gallon one this time so I won't have to keep buying each year.

Appearance:
It is in a bottle kind of shaped like a water bottle but much sturdier. Even though it is a cleaning detergent the bottle looks nothing like a detergent bottle. I have uploaded a picture to show what it looks like. The color of the liquid is orange. It is quite orange when you use it which I think is actually a pro because you'll be able to see where the detergent hits when putting it on dirty microfiber towels. I was actually afraid the orange color was going to stain my towels but thankfully it didn't.

Scent:
The scent wasn't too harsh or overpowering which is exactly what I was looking for. I didn't want my towels to be smelling like flowers after it was coming out of the washer. It smells like soap but the scent is not too strong. Usually after washing my towels and taking it out of the washer, you cannot really smell the scent unless you get real close to the towel. I don't think a lot of people smell it that closely anyways.

Efficiency:
The most important part of this product is of course how well it washes the microfiber towels. I usually throw in 4 cap full of this product with around 10 microfiber towels after washing my car. I tried to product with and without soaking. Without soaking it, I sometimes still see some dirt on my microfiber towels so I started to soak it. I usually soak for 30 minutes before letting it cycle the wash. I would say 99% of the stains are moved so I'm happy with the results. What made this wash great is the fact that it actually makes the towel seem like new and fluffy. It doesn't damage the towels like regular detergent does. Overall, I think this product does a great job washing microfiber towels and I would recommend.

I don't know why CG has so many different car washes, but here's another one. I typically use CG Glossworkz, or CG Citrus Wash & Gloss, those are my go-tos. I typically use Glossworkz as a maintenance wash as it won't strip wax. I'll use Citrus Wash and Gloss (diluted) in the foam cannon as a pre-wash foam as it's not PH balanced as does a good job breaking down road film. I was just about ready to use up the last of the of my Glossworkz but before I reordered, I decided to give Extreme Bodywash a shot. It seems to be very similar to Glossworkz but with a different color and smell. It also has some wax in it, but I couldn't tell much difference. It's purple and smells a lot like Dimetapp (the cough/cold medicine).

It performs about the same as Glossworkz, but with a slight bit more lubricity, and slightly less foaming ability. It is PH balanced to the point where it won't strip wax, so you can get more aggressive with the dilution if you want more lubricity and/or foam and not have to worry about stripping your existing wax/sealant. Overall it's a fine wash, but CG already has 4 or 5 very good to excellent car washes to begin with. I don't know why they feel the need to have a dozen versions of single product.

I absolutely love this stuff, it leaves a high gloss streak free shine and hides minor scratches you usually get from drying. It really brings out the deep metallic gloss in my paint. A little goes a long way, just an oz. of product in a 5 gallon wash bucket. I also use it in my foam cannon. I swear by Chemical Guys products.

Product showed up on my door step this morning on time, and in great condition. Boxed neatly and sealed in a tamper proof rapper. Took it to the yard to wash my rig, that I wash quite frequently! I’ve use other chem guys products like wax, and degreasers, and interior stuff. This is my first soap from them, I gotta say I’m pleased. ( What I noticed was that the reflection in the paint is more detailed. Also I could see further behind me, when standing in front of my truck! I also noticed that my bucket water was a lot dirtier quicker. The grape smell is true, smells good.) I would purchase again without a doubt! Wax is true, causes water to bead up. I hope that you will enjoy this stuff as I have folks. Peace

Don't pay any attention to these people complaining that you still have to use a mitt or microfiber to clean the car. They're just ignorant about how to clean a car. This soap foams and clings and provides fantastic lubrication for using a mitt or micro. There is no such thing as a soap that cleans a car all by itself without touching the car,no matter how long you let the soap soak. This soap does exactly what a car enthusiast would want. The rest of these people are just lazy and don't want to actually work to clean the car and think a soap will do it for them.

I bought this for the smell alone and after all the positive reviews I had to try it. I went to a few auto parts stores looking for it and none carry it yet. Amazing because Wal-Mart carries one or two of Chemical Guys products but not this one. I was shocked at how "less" soap I had to use compared to other car wash soaps. It was recommended to use 2-3 ounces in my foam cannon and I only used 1 1/2 and still had soap left over to wash two more cars. Suds are very thick, not watered down but almost like a paste when you spray it on. As far as getting the grime off, I always pre-rinse my vehicles first w/ my pressure washer and then apply the soap. I let this sit on my car for 5 minutes or so and then used a microfiber sponge to clean. Only had to do this once and then rinse. No two/three bucket method! One application, spray, scrub, rinse, and done! A little goes a long way and it smells awesome!

Hey all! I normally do not write reviews but this product deserves the time.
First off, I live in Florida do washing my car is a nightmare to start with. Even in Florida with direct sunlight and the heat, this soap doesn’t dry up right away. It allows you to wash most to all of the car without worrying the soap will dry. Don’t get me wrong. If you’re doing a detailed wash you should do section by section cause it does dry. The drying time is 2 to 3 times slower of other washes including other big brands I have tried.
The soap is literal super suds. You could even use less than the directions and easily wash your car or truck. You do have to dry your car otherwise you’ll have some water spots. I use a shammy sponge that is amazing btw. Everyone needs one! It’s the best $10 spent. Just as this is the best $25 investment for soap. Cause the shine this leaves behind is incredible! It’s a mirror!! As you can see with my peace sign lol it’s very smooth too, it feels like you quick waxed it as well!

Awesome products by these guys!! I use most of their products for years now

DaPoppa1

I have been using this since MEGUIAR'S put it out along with the entire MEGUIAR'S Ultimate line. It renews the shine until next wash. I do clay, and Ultimate wax at least twice a year. I use Ultimate in a foam cannon for best results.
1. Rinse car with cool water making sure the surface is cool, and free from loose debris.
2. Using the foam cannon foam the car from head to foot let it drip.
3. Fill a bucket with cool water, and an ounce of MEGUIAR'S Ultimate shampoo.
4. Rinse the foam off with cool water, re-apply foam
5. Wash the car from top working down to the bottom, dipping the mitt frequently keep it soaked.
6. Rinse with the foam cannon first, then cool water.
Follow the above steps in the shade and you will have a streak free super clean car.
Those PIX are of my hard working transports in the Florida sun, sand, and salt. I use MEGUIAR'S ULTIMATE product line and they stay looking fresh. A good protective coat keeps things like Sea Gull droppings from sticking, and eating into the paint. Most of what gets onto the finish does not stay long enough to do damage, and generally comes off with the rinse.
Wash your beast at least once a month, more than twice per month is obsessive..LOL
PS...do not forget the inside as well...

RBT

Cleans without taking off wax. To be honest I use ceramic wax every 3 months, so my opinion and results might differ from yours. I wash my Tundra every week and the this soap cleans and leaves my wax alone. Some say there are water spots… well I use my dewalt 20volt battery blower after I do my final rinse. Whatever water is left get soaked up with my towels. If I didn’t dry my truck I am sure I would have spots. I don’t know any wax or wash you can use that will prevent water spots. We had a well at our other house and we have hard city water now. Both left spots where the water would drip down from the door handles, minutes or hours after I finished drying, despite the water flowing off in sheets because I wax so much. Try other wash and wax product and let me know if you find something better. I am always interested in the latest and the best, I am not loyal to one product, but I stay with the same product until someone shows me something different and better. I used to use Mother’s boat wash and wax, because it was easy to wash my boat and just move over to my truck, but I found it took my wax off after a couple washes.

FANTASTIC car wash for black cars. Used in a foam cannon and used a microfiber mitt to get the dirt off. (Car was REALLY dirty). Dried with a chamwow and received a mirror shine. No waxing. Really surprised with the results. Will definitely keep using.

I drive a black car and strip all waxes and sealants every six months to re-apply Black Light Gloss & Sealant and top it with paste wax. My use of this product was on top of an existing layer of both Black Light Gloss & Sealant and paste wax, which I assume could have contributed to my results. The shine achieved was the best I have obtained on my 8 year old car and superior to any car wash soap that I've tried previously.

I highly recommend this new Black Light Soap for dark colored paint.

The first soap that I’ve used on a black car and noticed a difference. I’ve tried a ton of other soaps, chemical guys MrPink, Citrus, V07, Meguiers Gold, Various Turtle Wax, off brand, etc and this is the best. No residue and actually seemed to hide some minor swirls from the last wash.

Understand it’s not miracle soap and won’t turn unmaintained paint into factory new - but it could probably help make it a little better and will certain maintain a newer look compared to others.

I used a foam cannon so I can’t say I have any complaints about suds as some others mentioned. See picture for suds, 3000psi pressure washer with $30 foam cannon and this soap. Nothing else.

I will purchase this again.

I really like the foaming action of this soap. I have seen that some people have said that it didn't remove road grime, tar and bugs, but I didn't expect it to by spraying alone.

Instead of a two bucket wash system I use a no bucket system.

1. I first power wash my vehicle with plain water. This gets most of the loose dirt and contaminates off, as well as get the bugs wet for the next step.

2. I load my foam cannon with soap, attach it to my power washer and give the vehicle a thick coating of soap. When the whole car is saturated with soap, I use my microfiber sponge to start washing the same area that I first began applying the soap. I then scrub the whole car paying special attention to areas where the bugs and tar are concentrated.

3. I then begin rinsing my car with the power washer with the white nozzle. The power washer removed the already softened bugs and that weren't removed during the previous two steps.

After step 3 around 99% of the bugs and tar are gone.

Please know that I haven't wash this vehicle in 3 months. I just recently purchased a Greenworks 1,600 PSI power washer and another brand of foam cannon.

My car is 10 Years Old and has over 103,000 miles on it.

Good luck with your washing projects. My next project will be washing my house. It is almost 4 years old and is showing some signs of dirt over the winter.

I was going to use this to wash my car before tackling the job of removing oak tree sap that covered most of the paint and windows with Turtle Wax Bug and Tar Remover.

I usually use a foam gun but opted for a heavy dose of Maxi Suds II in a bucket filled about 1/4 full of cold water.
Rinsed the car with water, then washed. I was amazed to find that not only did it clean the car, but also removed most of the tree sap - some bits had to be scraped off with a fingernail, but after a good scrubbing and rinse, tree sap was all washed away. Bug and Tar Remover not needed. I was truly impressed.

I had this stuff written off as an overpriced fruit gum scented car wash, but I'm sold on it now. It's on my 'subscribe and save' list
